Facing criminal charges has got to be one of the most stressful experiences ever. Our goal is to do whatever we can to make life for our clients normal again. Believe it or not, people do get accused of things they didn’t do, or, they’re good people and they just made a mistake. Either way, we don’t want them to be punished for the rest of their lives. We do whatever we can to be as responsive as possible. It’s important for our clients and their family members to know what’s happening with their case.

Our best results in court have come from being creative and finding different ways to get our clients results that work for them. We exhaust every avenue possible to get our clients the best result possible because that’s what matters to them most.
Being There for Our Clients
We make it a point to communicate with our clients because most of them have never faced criminal charges before, and they’re very stressed out. The one thing you can expect from our firm is that you will always know what is happening with your case. Aside from being aggressive, there’s also the human aspect and that’s why it’s important to be compassionate. As a lawyer, you have to be there for your clients because they’re entrusting you with their freedom.

We like our clients and understand that they have either been wrongly accused or just made a mistake and deserve a second chance. We pride ourselves on being aggressive in the courtroom while also being responsive to our clients’ needs.
We Understand That Innocent People Do Get Accused of Things They Didn’t Do
It’s sad, but some innocent people do get arrested and charged with crimes. Anytime we get cases dismissed, we’re extremely happy because we know that our client shouldn’t have been put in that situation to begin with.
Another reason we only do criminal defense is that we think people deserve a second chance to make themselves useful to society. We all make mistakes. Heck, even very good people mistakes. If we can’t get a case thrown out, we do everything we can to get our clients a plea deal that works for them. Many of our clients have children or work to support their family, so if they end up in jail, the whole family suffers.
Aggressiveness
Our philosophy is that we have to take every avenue possible to defend our clients. There’s nothing worse than walking away from a case knowing that there was one more thing you could have done for your client but did not do. If there’s a technical issue with a case, we will file the necessary motion. If there is something questionable about the alleged facts, we will get investigators involved. If it’s best for our clients to take a plea deal, we make sure it’s something that they can work with, which means fighting for the least amount of punishment.
We Offer Payment Plans
We understand that many of our clients are going through tough times, and that is why we offer payment plans.
Results mean everything to my clients, and I always strive to get the case dismissed first because that's the least stressful for my clients
About Nghi Lam
I spent most of my childhood on welfare because we were very poor. My parents and I came to the United States as refugees and we didn't have much. I never knew that my experience as a poor refugee would serve a purpose one day but I've found that it helps me relate to my clients because most of my clients are either poor or down and out somehow.
Most people who end up in the criminal justice system come from very little. Many of them have suffered abuse, neglect, and all sort of things when they were children. This is why I don't think people should suffer for the rest of their lives when they make a mistake. I think people have the ability to change and become better people. Also, having seen things that happen in poor communities, I know that there are many instances of people being accused of things they didn't do. Being able to understand this has made me a more compassionate lawyer.
